"Live life fully while you’re here. Experience everything. Take care of yourself and your friends. Have fun, be crazy, be weird. Go out and screw up! You’re going to anyway, so you might as well enjoy the process. Take the opportunity to learn from your mistakes: find the cause of your problem and eliminate it. Don’t try to be perfect; just be an excellent example of being human."

a space that is honestly mine.

because i still want the world.

i thought wanderlust had left me behind, at least for a little while. i thought hey, i gotta get the house in check, gotta get my licenses, work that bit harder - there shouldn’t be anywhere that i would be so very eager to go to in the near future.

and its true, i’m happy being in singapore right now. but its the world of people that passes through your life that livens everything. you may even be of my age, with the exact same history - but i would still want to talk to you and listen to you. that’s my crazed lust for perspectives.

we cleared the house through the months. there’s still more to go but there’s more breathing space now. it feels better. it feels like there’s extra room for the soul to expand and breathe.

all we really need is just some breathing space, a place for the soul to grow strong and bold.

"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it."

It is ironic that we have these big idealistic i want to win the world kind of dreams, and yet at the end of the day it is people that satisfy us. It is crazy how we want to plunder the depths of the sea, to reach to the highest point - yet it is the warmth of a sunny day, a quiet moment spent that strikes us. I feel humans are so very contradicting and for a lack of better terms, moronic. At least, perhaps myself.

I guess we spend our entire lives trying to figure the delicate balance.
